Mosaic Hammer.
A popular combination hammer, one side is steel the other side has a carbide tip so you have one hammer for both types of material.
Carbide side :  glass & smalti.
Steel side:  rock, marble, stone and hard materials.
The mosaic hammer ensure a clean and precise cut of the mosaic tiles, thanks to the sharpened edge and the high balancing that allows you to calibrate the intensity of the stroke on the material.
A natural wood handle is fixed on the hammer. A favourite with mosaicists, this tool  has been used for at least 2000 years and is the most widely used tool for professional mosaic artist all over the world.
