A mosaic scorer and snap all-in-one tool is a handy tool used to cut and break glass and ceramic tiles for mosaic projects.
Here are the steps to use it effectively:
- Measure and mark the tile where you want to make the cut using a straight edge and a marker.
- Place the tile onto a flat surface or a tile cutter, making sure it is secure.
- Hold the scorer tool perpendicular to the tile at the mark, and apply firm pressure as you draw it along the line. The scorer will create a visible groove in the tile.
- Once you have scored the tile, place the tile onto the snap tool, with the scored line aligned with the centerline of the tool.
- Press down on both sides of the tile using the snap tool's handles to break the tile along the scored line.
- Use a tile file or sandpaper to smooth the edges of the cut tile.
