MAC Glue is a multi-purporse quick drying glue. Though its quick drying, flexible, crystal-clear, water resistant qualities make it the premier glue for mosaic art, it works great fo rvirtually any surface-to-surface bonding.
These suraces include, but are not exclusive to tile, glass, wood, concrete, ceramics, leather, rubber, plastic, terracotts, most fabric fibreglass and carpet.
Great for indoor and outdoor applications. It's the premier glass on glass glue for stained glass, but works wonderfully with smalti and other tesserae.
It's best to test it out, it works best on smooth base tesserae but it can be built up with layering.
Usage: Be sure the surface is clean and free from dust, water, oil or other loos contaminates that may alter the effectiveness of the glue.
Tip: MAC glue can build height on itself. Apply first layer, allow to dry. Apply more layers as required. Handy way to raise tesserae heights in mixed media mosaic making.
Precautions: Use in a well ventilated area. Use gloves for prolonged or repeated contact. Wash hands after use. Safety glasses or goggles are recommended.
Keep container closed when not in use. Keep from freezing. Do not store in area of direct sunlight, excessive heat, or freezing temperatures.
Do not ingest. May be harmful if swallowed. Contains no hazardous chemicals.
NOTE: This adhesives has a very thin consistency. A little goes a long way, so this bottle will last a long time.
It's one of the clearest drying glues available. Suitable for mosaic Glass on Glass (GOG) projects.
If you live in an area where the weather is extremely cold, you may run the risk of the bottle freezing during shipping.
Please keep a look out for your delivery. Ensure the glue does not sit out in cold weather in your mail box or yard.
